LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Animal shelters across Southwest Florida are taking part in Clear The Shelters Day on Saturday!
It's a nationwide movement on August 17th to find animals their forever homes.
Here are some of the shelters participating:
Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County, Lee and Collier County Domestic Animal Services, and Naples Humane Society will all waive adoption fees.
Gulf Coast Humane Society is also participating, but adoption fees won't be waived. There will however be drawings for discounted adoptions.
