Lois Riess to be extradited to Florida first

Posted

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- We now know that Lois Riess, the woman accused of killing her husband in Minnesota then a woman in Fort Myers Beach, will be extradited to Florida first.

That's according to our Fox affiliate in Rochester, Minnesota, who spoke to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.

Riess was arrested in South Padre Island, Texas last week following a national manhunt, and has been in custody there ever since.

You may remember us telling you Monday that both Minnesota and Florida had ten days to pick up Riess, and the first to get her will be the first to try her.
