IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- A Collier County man is facing kidnapping and aggravated assault charges after Collier County Sheriff's Deputies say he tried to assault two different women in Immokalee on Friday.
Deputies say they arrested Alexander Manzano, 31, during a traffic stop in Immokalee on South 3rd Street.
CCSO says they responded to calls about a woman was screaming that someone trying to kidnap her. The woman told deputies she was walking when a man got out of a white pick up truck and tried to drag her inside. The woman says she fought back and the man began punching and choking her. Another driver stopped to help the woman and the man fled the scene.
Deputies say they arrested Manzano in a white pick up truck nearby. They say he matches the description of another assault earlier that day.
