NAPLES, Fla. — Charlotte County deputies arrested a man for fleeing from law enforcement on Friday.
Deputies say Ian Meinket , 22 , also had a minor in the car with drugs and a firearm.
Authorities noticed Meinket traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Lagan Blvd. North and Mahogany Ridge Drive.
Deputies attempted to stop Meinket, but he accelerated, and it appeared he was attempting to flee.
Deputies conducted a felony stop and found other passengers in car, and one was a juvenile.
Meinket is charged with fleeing to elude a marked emergency vehicle, possession of marijuana less than twenty grams, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
