CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Police Department says a man has been arrested after allegedly beating a pregnant woman and threatening her with a firearm.
Police say 26-year-old Prince Davis was involved in an argument with the victim at a Cape Coral home. The department says Davis became violent by pushing the victim, and grabbing her by the hair & arm.
The victim fled to the bathroom and locked herself in, but Davis kicked the door in and charged the victim, according to a press release from the Cape Coral Police Department.
After further altercation, the victim managed to leave the home.
Cape Police located Davis and he was arrested for aggravated battery on on a pregnant victim, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, felony criminal mischief, and grand theft of a firearm. He was transported to the Lee County Jail.
