CLEWISTON, Fla. — A 10-year-old was walking home from the bus stop when someone in a white pickup truck approached them.
The man in the truck asked the child to get into his truck.
The child got scared, ran home, and the police were called.
Detectives identified the drivers as Eric Morton, 62, and found his vehicle in Clewiston.
Police conducted interviews and placed Morton under arrested and charged him with Luring or Enticing a Child Under the age of 12 years of age.
Morton bonded out the next day.
