LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- We now know the name of a man killed in a single-vehicle Lehigh Acres crash Monday night.
Florida Highway Patrol says 69-year-old James Beasley of Lehigh Acres was driving along Williams Avenue around 9pm when he continued north past the dead end at W. 18th Street, went airborne over a canal and crashed onto the other side.
Emergency services got there shortly after, but Beasley died at the hospital.
Troopers do not believe alcohol was a factor.
