LEE COUNTY, Fla — Florida Highway Patrol says a 32-year-old man is in critical condition after a single-car crash in Lee County.
The crash happened at U.S. 41 and Littleton Road.
Troopers say the man was driving his SUV northbound on U.S. 41 when he drove off the roadway and collided with a traffic barrel.
They say he traveled over an embankment and then collided with a dirt pile on the shoulder of the road.
Troopers say the vehicle became airborne and landed in a ditch east of U.S. 41.
The man was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
