CAPE CORAL, Fla.-- A man says he was robbed at gunpoint during a 'Letgo' meet up to buy a phone.
According to Cape Coral police, William Orengo, says he used the app 'Letgo' to buy a cellphone from a man.
The seller told Orengo to meet at the Eagle Skate Park in Cape Coral on Sunday, to get the phone. They across the park.
Orengo says the man grabbed his shoulder, showed a gun in his waistband and told him to hand over all the money he had. Orengo gave the man $120 and he ran off.
Police searched the neighborhood for the suspect. They were not able to do a K9 search due to time delay and foot traffic in the area. Police got positive fingerprints of the suspect.
Orengo did not want to press any charges against the man.
