LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Fort Myers man who was found guilty in Septemberf or Lewd or Lascivious Molestation on a child was sentenced today.
Juan Ruiz 32 was sentenced to 15 years in prison on one count of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation.
Deputies say Ruiz met the middle school-aged girl at a bus stop. He continued conversations with the girl for several weeks and then had sexual relations with her.
A family member saw Ruiz and the child; the police were quickly notified.
