A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for the murder of a woman outside of a Collier County High School. In December, Jose Pena, shot and killed his ex-girlfriend as she was leaving an adult education class at Lely High School.
Pena pled no contest to second degree murder with a firearm. He took a plea deal on Friday. A judge formally found him guilty and sentenced him to life.
