A LaBelle man is in the hospital in serious but stable condition after a motorcycle crash in Hendry County Sunday night.
It happened on State Road 29 near Tangerine Street.
Florida Highway Patrol says around 7:30 Sunday night, Nicholas Beall was on his bike following behind a pickup truck. Troopers say when that pick up truck stopped at an intersection, Beall tried to stop, but ended up hitting the truck.
Beall then lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a highway sign on the shoulder.
He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital in serious condition. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Troopers say Beall will be cited for driving without a license and careless driving.
