A Golden Gate man's good deed turned into a nightmare

Collier County Deputies arrested Peterson Georges after they say he robbed the victim at gun point.

It happened last month after the victim and his sister found a lost dog on Coronado Parkway.

He took to snap chat to try and find the owner.  That's when deputies say Georges responded to the snap and asked the victim to meet him at a home off 50th Terrace SW.

The victim told Georges he turned over the dog to Domestic Animal Services.  That's when deputies say Georges pointed a gun at the victim, demanded his wallet and phone until he returned the dog.

Georges and another suspect were identified through a line up.

Georges is charged with robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Another man, Dalton Sousa was also arrested, deputies say he was with Georges when the crime happened.
