LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Habitual Felony Offender was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of probation for Robbery with a Firearm.
Police say Rodriguez robbed a 7-11 in Fort Myers. Rodriguez was wearing a wig with a hoodie sweatshirt when he pulled a gun and stole money.
Luckily the employee was able to identify Rodriguez because he was a frequent customer.
Rodriguez was caught after a woman living in the same apartment complex as he called police about someone trying to break into her apartment.
A thorough investigation revealed Rodriguez had many wigs in his apartment, including the one he wore during the Robbery.
The hoodie and sweatshirt were also located in the apartment.
