MARCO ISLAND, Fla.-- The city of Marco Island wants its residents to be prepared for hurricane season, so they are holding a preparedness seminar, Tuesday, July 30, 2019. The meeting starts at 5 P.M. in the community room at 51 Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island.
During the meeting, city staff will help residents with Code RED sign-up and Special Needs registry. You will also learn about evacuation routes off the island, bridge closures, and island reentry after a storm.
The seminar will feature a presentation and a question-and-answer session, on topics like debris removal, as well as home and construction site preparedness. You will also be able to ask any questions related to hurricane preparedness.
