ARCADIA, Fla. -- Deputies say a 85-year-old woman was critically injured Monday night when numerous shots were fired into her home in Arcadia.
According to the DeSoto County Sheriff's Office, around 11:45 p.m., more than 20 shots were fired through a bedroom window in the Golden Melody subdivision.
The victim was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
