NAPLES, Fla. — During the Naples City Council meeting on May 13, Council voted unanimously to accept City Manager Charles Chapman’s resignation, effective immediately.
The City Manager is hired by the council to carry out the policies it establishes. Chapman held the position since 2018.
Deputy City Manager, Dana Souza, was appointed by unanimous vote to be Interim City Manager until further guidance from the Council on proceeding to fill the position.
