NAPLES, Fla. — A Naples doctor is being credited with saving the life of an Ohio man.

Dr. Price Sonkarley, an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) at Florida Gulf Coast Ear, Nose, & Throat noticed Jack Sammon bent over leaning in his car and knew something was not right.

The incident occurred on January 16th, when Dr. Sonkarley and his wife were playing with their children outside when the Doctor noticed Sammon’s.

Dr. Sonkarley quickly responded and started CPR on Sammons, a former and retired prosecutor from Avon, Ohio.

Dr. Sonkarley's wife Robyn called 911 and they arrived within minutes.

Physicians told Jacks' wife that there was a four-minute window to get his heart restarted before there was permanent damage and that he had a 10% chance of survival.

“Dr. Sonkarley saved my husband's life”! We couldn’t have had a better experience with all the help and support from the Naples community (neighbors and healthcare workers)” said Lori Sammons.
