NAPLES, Fla. -- A Naples man is in jail after investigators say he shared videos of children having sex and wrote that he wanted to kidnap a child.
21-year-old Richard Farias is facing a charge of electronically transmitting child pornography.
According to a Collier County Sheriff's Office report, authorities received three reports of child exploitation seen on video chat websites Omegle and Chaturbate, all of which led investigators to Farias.
During live chats, they say Farias streamed videos showing children aged 3-6 engaged in explicit sex acts. Transcripts of the chats showed Farias wrote about wanting to perform these acts on young children and wanting to "kidnap" a child.
On Tuesday, deputies executed a search warrant on his Acadia Lane home and took Farias into custody.
He was arrested and booked into the Collier County jail. Bond has not been set in his case.
