A Naples man was arrested for allegedly posing as a licensed contractor and performing work on a structure, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said in a report.
The victim told deputies that Daniel Ohleyer arrived to her home and presented documents that qualified him to be a licensed contractor.
After paying Daniel $1,700.00, she quickly learned that he was not authorized to perform contracting work and requested a refund to which he denied, CCSO said in a report.
After a further investigation, evidence revealed that Daniel provided false documents and did not have an active license.
He was arrested and charged with Engaging in the Business or Acting in the Capacity of a Contractor without Certification.
