UPDATE (9:00 AM)-- The driver of a motorcycle that was in critical condition after hitting a curb in February was pronounced deceased on March 6th according to FHP.
The investigation is still under investigation.

A 48-year-old Naples man is in critical condition after hitting a curb and flying off of a motorcycle.
The man was riding eastbound on Vanderbilt Beach Road approaching Airport Road.
The motorcycle traveled off the roadway to the right, hitting a curb and throwing the driver to the eastbound lanes of Vanderbilt Beach Road.
The bike came to rest in the right turn lane of Vanderbilt Beach Road.
