DeSOTO COUNTY, Fla. -- A Naples man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on a rural DeSoto County road Sunday.
It happened on NW Lily Avenue near Bethel Farms Road.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, troopers say that around 5:18 p.m. Sunday, 73-year-old Daniel Krall of Naples failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and went onto the shoulder, crashed into the ditch, and overturned.
Krall died at the scene.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
