Naples park to get artificial turf soccer fields

NAPLES, Fla. -- Collier County commissioners are moving forward with a $2 million plan to convert grass into artificial turf at North Collier Regional Park.

This will affect two grass soccer fields at the North Naples facility.

Commissioners say adding turf will save the county thousands of dollar a year on maintenance costs.

They also say it'll expand the park's use.
