A Naples woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers responded to the crash on Wilson Blvd North at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Jennifer Eagles, 30, of Naples was walking on the west paved shoulder on Wilson Blvd North when a car drove onto the shoulder and hit her, FHP said.
Eagles came to final rest on the west grassy shoulder of Wilson Blvd North. She was transported to the North Collier Hospital and suffers serious injuries.
The driver of the car continued traveling southbound on Wilson Blvd North without aiding Eagles or exchanging driver information, FHP said.
A witness described the driver's car as an older model Nissan Altima.
