NAPLES, Fla. — The Naples Zoo announced it will be giving free tickets to Collier County residents to the Zoo.
The tickets will be for Sunday, February 28, and Monday, March 1.
The Naples Zoo normally offers all Collier County residents free admission on the first Saturday of every month as a tangible thank you for voting to save the Zoo in 2004.
However, due to the federal government and CDC restrictions for safe social distancing, the typical Free Saturday program has been suspended until further notice as Naples Zoo typically sees anywhere from 3,000 to 6,000 guests in a single day on Free Saturday.
The modified, timed ticket free days allow the Zoo to limit capacity, while still offering the benefit.
