BUCKINGHAM, Fla — People in the Buckingham neighborhood in East Lee County decided to say 'thank you' to Fire and Rescue, Law Enforcement, and EMT crews for being on the front lines.

Neighbors were encouraged to 'light it up blue' as the teams drove by to show how much they appreciated and supported those who put their life on the line each day.

One neighbor, Julie Hinton, really let her appreciation shine through and made sure to share the light with everyone.

"Anybody the needed light bulbs, couldn't get away from work to go get them, other neighbors got them, I mean that's how much we all wanted to do this," said Hinton.

The parade started at the Tice Fire Department and down Buckingham Road.
