SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — “Somebody stole something you worked hard for it and it insights a lot of feelings”, said Matt Malone, victims of home burglary

Tonight Matt Malone left angry and frustrated after being ripped off. Surveillance video captured a man wandering through his yard on Tulip Road. Malone says his wife woke him up early Wednesday morning to inform him her console inside her vehicle was opened.

“I’m looking around I don’t find anything. So the first thing I do is open up my Blink App with the Amazn camera and I have this guy walking around crawling around trying to open my doors”, said Malone.

Moments later he made another discovery.

“Until I noticed my gate open, I walked into the backyard my shed door was open, my generators were gone,” said Malone.

Malone was left furious.

“Really P.O. you wish the guy was there when you came outside, it was one of those feelings”, said Malone.

Just down the road, another neighbor describes seeing the intruder on his surveillance footage.

“Kind of shocked, I wouldn’t say worried, but more so like my wife was scared, she was terrified. We have a little one upstairs, you can see clearly in the video he was just walking through our yard like nothing was wrong with that”, said Dennis Fenner.

Fenner says, he came outside, and noticed his garage door was opened.

“Seen a bunch of stuff on my desk, seen stuff scattered like this odd stack of coolers”, said Fenner.

His surveillance cameras also spotted a man roaming the area. Fenner had several items stolen. He says were worth over $500.

“Started looking through the night and 1:15 he’s peeking around at my neighbors house and he came over here about 15 to 20 minutes after, and like rummaged though the whole house”, said Fenner.

Now he just wants the guy caught.

“Get him off the street, someone like that he’s clearly not in the right state of mind and I hope all my neighbors get what they lost returned”, said Fenner.
