FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Four in Your Corner is working to find out more details about a shooting overnight in the Pine Manor community.
Deputies had streets blocked off on in a neighborhood off of Maple Drive and 8th Avenue. That’s where a neighbor told our crew on the scene that she heard at least 20 gunshots.
And at a separate nearby scene on 4th Avenue and Cypress, our crew spotted bullet casings on the ground.
Once we learn more about the search for any potential suspects, we'll be sure to bring you that information.
And this street seems to be familiar to law enforcement. Exactly two weeks ago we saw a very similar scene where deputies shut down Maple Drive for hours overnight. Back on May 15th, neighbors told our crew they heard gun shots.
When we got to the scene we could see evidence markers on the road. However, the Lee County Sheriff's Office will not confirm to Fox 4 what actually happened there.
