FORT MYERS, Fla. — Keeping tracking of developments in our area, we got a chance to check out the new Luminary Hotel in downtown Fort Myers.
The new waterfront property invited Fox 4 to hard hat day to show off the new construction inside, and just in time for your next staycation.
The 12 story hotel opens in 8 weeks. It connects to the neighboring Caloosa Sound Convention Center and Amphitheater.
When complete, the facility will offer forty thousand square feet of event space as well as dining, a rooftop lounge, a culinary theater, retail spaces, a pool, and an outdoor fitness facility.
General Manager Bob Megazzini says it is more than just a hotel. If you are looking for a job, mark your calendar, the hotel will be holding a job fair on August 6th at the Sydney Burne Davis Center in downtown Fort Myers.
