CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Kids in the Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte County will be able to go to places they couldn't before, thanks to a big donation.
Check it out…the club was able to buy a new van, thanks to a grant from a local auto care store.
Club leaders says this van will open up a lot more opportunities for the kids they serve. "This van is very important because it allows us to take kids on field trips that they wouldn't get the opportunity to go on, like career fairs, college visits, and some maybe profession baseball games or maybe anything like that."
The van was revealed to club members and staff during a surprise ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday.
