A brief tornado occurred early Saturday morning in NW Cape Coral. the NWS in Ruskin confirms that an EF-1 tornado with a path length of 1.03 mi and 100 yards wide occurred around 645 AM in the area of 26th Ave. The tornado only lasted about 2 minutes before lifting.
