FORT MYERS, Fla. - Oak Hammock Middle School recently received a grant, allowing it to become a magnet school for the arts, where teachers are collaborating arts with subjects like science, math, language arts and civics.
Vinson Johnson, a teacher at the school, says they've recently added a music production class unlike anywhere else.
Students can write, produce and record their own music album in the classroom from beginning to end.
Johnson says this is an outlet for students who want to make music, but have nowhere else to record or anywhere for people to hear them.
The middle school is located in Fort Myers. For more information, click here.
