One injured in Fort Myers shooting at apartment complex

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that left one man injured Tuesday night in an apartment complex near City of Palms Park.

Police say it happened around 6:30pm at the Jackson Plaza apartments, located on Willard Street at Jackson Street.

Officers arrived to find Javaris Miller suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  He and another man at the scene signed complaint withdrawals.

Another witness said the shooters were black males that fled in a red 4-door vehicle.
