UPDATE 10:14am: Fowler Street is back open.
Fort Myers Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash involving a pedestrian.
Police say it happened on Fowler Street, in between South Street and Canal. It involved a vehicle and a person who was walking. All drivers stayed on the scene.
Right now, Fowler Street is completely closed off in this area while emergency crews are working.
