FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Troopers need your help finding the driver who hit and seriously hurt a Fort Myers woman Wednesday evening.
It happened around 8:15 p.m. on Commerce Lakes Drive, just north of Daniels Parkway. That is near Fort Myers Brewing.
Troopers say the woman, 58-year-old Margaret Fazio, was walking in the right northbound lane of Commerce Lakes Drive, in front of two vehicles.
They say a third car then passed the other two vehicles, but ended up hitting the woman. That driver then sped off.
Fazio was taken to Gulf Coast Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
