The situation is ended at this time, with officers clearing the scene.
The Cape Coral Police Department is on scene of a distraught subject contained in their home and making violent threats around the 600 block of SE 11th Avenue.
Area residents are asked to stay in their homes until the situation is resolved.
Other residents are asked to stay out of the area.
