HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Even Hurricane Ian can’t keep Pine Island residents from celebrating the beauty of the mango!
The city of Pine Island is hosting a fun-filled family event to celebrate the fruit of mango that suffered growth losses after Hurricane Ian.
The event will be held at the Lady of Miraculous Medal Church from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tropical plants and trees will be for sale as well as locally grown fruit, contests, and games for kids of all ages.
