CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A mock-up of the development called "La Placita de Cape Coral" were presented. The design plan calls for a cluster of four buildings, 2 and 3 stories tall, with European and Caribbean architectural styles.
The developers were excited and say they want to the area to be a hub for business, art and dining.
Planners are hoping to get the project started in the first quarter of 2020.
It would be located on SE 15th Avenue at 47th Terrace.
