PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Parents in Port Charlotte will have one fewer options for playgrounds for the time being.
Charlotte County Parks and Recreation says the playground at Franz Ross Park, located at 19355 Quesada Boulevard in Port Charlotte, will be closed for replacement.
The work begins Tuesday January 21st and will remain closed until the new playground is installed.
