Possible routes President Trump will take to Hertz Arena

President Trump is holding a MAGA rally Wednesday evening at Hertz Arena in Estero, and that will cause some traffic issues for drivers around Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).

Air Force One will land at RSW Wednesday, Oct. 31 just after 6:00 p.m. President Donald Trump's motorcade will then make its way to Hertz Arena, meaning roads along their route will most likely be blocked off.

There are two possible routes the President will likely take from RSW. In the first possible route, POTUS will take Treeline Ave., which then turns into Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy. They'll take that all the way to Estero.

In the second possible route, POTUS will take Daniels Pkwy. to I-75 Southbound to Estero. Former police chief Walter Zalisko says this is the route they will most likely take. He says any roads the president takes will be blocked off until he arrives at his destination safely.

President Trump will also return to the airport later Wednesday night, which means I-75 Northbound will be shut down at some point tonight, too, if they take that route back.

A spokesperson for RSW says people traveling to and from the airport Wednesday afternoon and evening need to allow for extra time because of this.
