FORT MYERS, Fla. — Protesters in Southwest Florida gathered to demand justice in Centennial Park following the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while being arrested by a white police officer on Memorial Day in Minnesota.

People marched through the park carrying signs and chanting "hands up, don't shoot."

W. Earl Sparrow Jr., a community activist, says people spoke from their heart and their experiences.

The next step forward is following the #enoughisenough239 and getting other people to talk about their experience.

Floyd's death has sparked protests and outrage across the country as demonstrators took to the streets to demand justice.
