BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — The public is invited to attend a meeting Wednesday night to discuss future plans for the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track after Florida voted to ban dog racing and betting on dog racing back in November of 2018.

Neighbors near the track received notices about this meeting, which said the plan is to rezone to a commercially planned development to allow construction of a new 30,000 square foot facility.

You have the chance to ask questions and make comments at the meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, at the track in Bonita Springs. If you can't make it, you can send all questions to Paula McMichael, the Director of Planning. Her phone number is 239-254-2000. Her email is paulamcmichael@hmeng.com.
