ORLANDO, Fla. -- There will be a public viewing Wednesday for the Florida Highway Patrol trooper who was killed in a crash in Orlando last week.
Trooper Tracy Vickers was killed in a crash involving his patrol car and a pick-up truck carrying construction equipment. Reports say his car went underneath the truck.
Vickers served as a field training officer and had been working at the state agency for about four years.
The public viewing will be Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m at First Baptist Church of Orlando, located at 3000 South John Young Parkway in Orlando.
His funeral is on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the same church. The ceremony is to start at 10 a.m. sharp, followed by memorial procession to Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida.
