PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — A Punta Gorda man was arrested on six counts of Sexual Battery on a minor.
The Sheriff’s Office investigated a case reported on July 27th accusing Joseph Maxwell Griffin 36, of sexually assaulting a victim for several years in his home located on Chimes Avenue in Port Charlotte.
Detectives investigated the allegation and interviewed Griffin while he was working at the Applebees located on Sandhill Blvd.
After speaking with Griffin, he was placed under arrest on the following charges:
