PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — UPDATE (8:10 AM)-- U.S. 41 South has now been reopened according to Punta Gorda Police.

The Punta Gorda Police are working on a traffic crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of US 41 South and West Grace Street.
Portions of US 41 South will be closed to traffic at that intersection during the investigation.
Please avoid the area if possible.
