LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Parts of South Lee County were still underwater Monday night as the San Carlos Fire District continued rescue efforts.
Island Park Road was under three feet of water Monday afternoon, but residents said the water had not begun to flood into apartments in the area. They said it had been flooded since Sunday around 3 p.m.
San Carlos Fire officials say they'd rescued over 130 people as of 6 p.m. Monday.
