NAPLES, Fla. — A Naples roofing company has been cited after an employee died from a fall.

OSHA cited "TarHeel Corp." For exposing employees to safety hazards after the deadly incident that happened at the Forest Glen Community in Naples.

OSHA says the company failed to provide employees with fall protection systems.

The roofing company is accused of not properly training employees on procedures or how to operate powered industrial trucks.

The company has 15 business days from receipt of the citations and proposed penalties to comply, request an informal conference with OSHA’s area director, or contest the findings before the independent Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.

The company is facing $32,000 in penalties.
