FORT MYERS, Fla.-- Southwest Florida International Airport, or RSW, will have an emergency training exercise on Wednesday morning.

Airport officials say the emergency training will happen from 9 a.m. until noon on the north ramp of the airport; staging and volunteer activities will start around 8 a.m. The training is not open to the public.

People may notice emergency vehicles and activity. Since the airport terminal has large windows, you may see what appears to be an aircraft incident on the north ramp. However, this is just a training exercise.

There will be no road closures and travelers will not be impacted.
