LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A family will likely look to rebuild part of their San Carlos Park home after an electrical short started a fire overnight.
It happened inside a home on Lake San Carlos Circle around 11:15 Sunday night.
The Fox 4 Breaking News Tracker was on the scene, where fire officials tell us the short was in a vent fan in the family's bathroom.
That official added they got there fast enough and were able to cut the power to minimize the damage.
He added the family refused Red Cross assistance and will stay inside the house, since the damage was limited to the bathroom.
