SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. — The Sarasota Police Department (SPD) is investigating a shooting that happened on Sunday.
SPD says the shooting occurred just after 5 p.m. near John Rivers Street.
According to SPD, one victim is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
They say the shooter is in police custody and there is no threat to the public.
